Sweater Tales

I had been hoping for a few more warm days before summer's end and I got my wish through an unusually hot first week of September. However, as soon as the weather turned colder and windy at the beginning of the long weekend, my mind turned to some more fall-appropriate attire: the sweater. This item is one that I could probably not live without. Whether it is a cardigan or a pullover, short-sleeved, long-sleeved or in between, patterned or not, I always reach for it - I've been known to carry one with me even in the summer, "just in case" I get cold.
Thinking ahead of the windy days of autumn, I can't wait to pull out thick sweaters from the depths of my closet and rework some of the summer cardis into my fall wardrobe. In keeping with my passion for the environment, I'm thinking about adding some earth-friendly options to my collection, so I scoured the web and came up with quite a few picks that I would love to slip into during the cold season.
